Description:
The day wasnt completely over, however. While driving back toward home on US 24 I noticed box cars on the ND&W at Jewell. I went into town and sure enough there was an engine attached with those cars. Ive never seen the ND&W outlaw here before, but maybe the Patriot takeover of Pioneer has changed some things on the ND&W. Regardless, I grabbed a few shots of the PREX 3054 and hit the road once more. I got home around 8 PM and was ready for another full day of trains the following day! An enjoyable first full day of vacation!
