Title:
PRR 8770, BS-12M, c. 1953
Description:
Here is an original photo by Douglas C. Jones that was taken in Orangeville, Maryland, c. 1953. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8770, a BS-12M built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in October of 1952 and rated at 1,200 horsepower. Looks like one of those grab-the-camera-and-shoot-through-the-windshield shots!
