Title:
PRR 8670, H-10S, 1951
Description:
Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by J.J. Buckley that was taken near Chicago, Illinois, in June of 1951. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #8670, an H-10S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built by the American Locomotive Company during October of 1913 and retired in October of 1953 after 40 years of faithful service. Note the "doghouse" on the tender!
