Description:
Here is one of the later H-10s Consolidations built by Alco for the PRR. By now, it has the major improvements developed over the years already built into it giving it a smoother, more solid look. Thanks to Warren Evans (see comment below), the exact location has been identified as the Rose Lake engine house in East St. Loius, Illinois, the last PRR yard and engine house in Illinois before crossing the Mississippi River into St. Louis, Mo.
