Newark. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train near Newark, Delaware, on 27 March 1965. Shown here is PRR engine #4886, a GG-1 built in Juniata during March of 1939. It will soon arrive in Wilmington on its way North to Philadelphia and New York City with a 20-car passenger train. The time is 12:19 P.M. (The highway bridge is marked "SR 31703.")

Title:
PRR 4886, GG-1, 1965
Description:
WIL-ALT-65. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 28 March 1965. Shown here (R to L) are PRR engine #4886 and another unit whose number is not recorded. #4886 is a GG-1 built in Juniata during March of 1939. They are idling-away on the Locomotive Ready Tracks at the Market Street Bridge, just West of the Harrisburg Passenger Station.
