Title:
412013 - Trenitalia / Italian State Railway
Description:
The E412 series for Trenitalia is based on AdTranz' Eco2000 platform. This platform was developed by ABB-Henschel in early 90s, before it merged into AdTranz. Therefore the E 412 is related to the DB 101 series and is partially a predecessor of the later-to-be-introduced Traxx platform. The E412 shows rest of a cooperation between Trenitalia and the Swiss SBB cargo division.
