Blackhawk. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Fred Byerly that was taken near Union Station in Chicago, Illinois, on 5 September 1966. Photo Caption: "FM H10-44, PRR #9096. Chicago, Illinois. 9-5-66." PRR #9096 is an FS-10 built by Fairbanks-Morse in October of 1949, rated at 1,000 horsepower, and renumbered "8259" in preparation for the PRR-NYC merger. This photo comes from a color slide set entitled "Fairbanks-Morse and Lima Diesels ~ Eastern and Canadian Roads" that's produced and distributed by Blackhawk Films of Davenport, Iowa (902-03).
