It was published originally in the December 1965 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 50. Top-Left Photo Caption: "The competition gets into the act as Alco [RS27] leads a GE U25B and an EMD GP9 past a Pennsy position-light signal." Photo by Louis A. Marre. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2412, an AF-24 built by Alco in October of 1962 and rated at 2,400 horsepower.
