Monett mural
Description:
The folks in Monett, MO, a junction town on the Frisco Cherokee Sub-where it met the Sixth Sub, todays Arkansas & Missouri, the main line now BNSF, painted this mural on a downtown building. I think it was done in 2019-hence the engine number. There was an SLSF 2019, an E 8 named in Friscos series of thoroughbreds, in this case, Cavalcade. Nice to see it memorialized so prominently.
